KATHY AOKI lives in the Silicon Valley where she is an assistant professor at Santa Clara University . Her studio is located in San Jose . Kathy's past awards include fellowships from Kala Art Institute and the MacDowell Colony. In 2004 she was awarded an artist's residency at the Headlands Center for the Arts. Her work can be found in major collections across the U.S. , such as the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Harvard University Art Museums , and the New York Public Library.

Kathy's piece "You're Mine (Battle of Kawaii)" will be exhibited in the APAture Gallery at KSW's space180.
